UPCOMING STAR EVENTS:
• STAR will be at the Ludwig's Corner Horse Show over Labor Day Weekend - Saturday, Sunday and Monday September 4-6 from 10AM-4PM each day. We will be there with adoptable dogs!
• We will also be attending Adoption Day at PetCo in Pottstown, PA on Saturday, September 18th with adoptable dogs, cats and other small critters. There will be activities and vendors along with rescues from 11AM-3PM in the parking lot. More details coming soon.
• We will then be at the Barto Fall Festival in Barto, PA on Saturday, October 2nd from 11AM-3PM.

STAR is in the process of placing cats & kittens in the adoption center at PetCo in Pottstown, PA. Please stop by to see the available kitties, and if one catches your fancy you may fill out an application on the spot to hand in to a PetCo employee.

STAR is on our way to rescuing more dogs, cats and kittens this year than ever before! But we can't do this without your help. We need foster homes desperately! And it won't cost you a thing. STAR provides you with a completely vetted animal, crate, food and any necessary medical care while you are fostering the animal. We even have bunnies in need of foster homes. We try our best to match your foster animal to your needs and your animal's needs. If you are interested please email us for a foster application.
Can't foster but still want to help? You may donate through PayPal by using the button below, or if you have old towels, blankets, papertowels, Frontline, Advantage, Revolution, or any other item you think may be useful to us, please email us. Who Is
STAR?
|

STAR is a very small rescue run from foster homes. We
take in local unwanted pets and animals from shelters.
We have also rescued farm animals such as goats and
pot-bellied pigs and even horses. Feel free to
email
us with any questions!
Please note that the application process takes a few
days. We need to review your application, contact your
references, and set up an appointment for you to meet
the animal you are interested in. If you are looking
to obtain a pet immediately, our rescue may not be the
best choice for you. However, from the time you turn in your
completed application, it generally only takes about a week
before you meet the animal you are interested in,
provided your application is approved.
If
you have an animal you would like to relinquish to us,
please let us know. We will need you to provide information
about the animal such as breed,
age, sex, neutered/spayed, and whether it is up to date
with vaccinations. At this time we are accepting dogs,
puppies, small animals, birds, reptiles, and farm
animals. |
